Delete Your Account

We respect your privacy and make it easy to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To delete your Chay Buddy account manually, follow these steps:

   Open the Chay Buddy app

   Launch the Chay Buddy application on your mobile device.

   Navigate to Profile

   Tap on the Profile icon at the bottom of the screen.

   Go to Privacy & Security

   Select "Privacy & Security" from the profile menu.

   Select Delete Account

   Tap on the "Delete Account" option.

   Confirm Deletion

   Follow the on-screen instructions to permanently confirm your account deletion.

What Data Will Be Deleted

• Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Chat history and messages
• Group memberships
• App preferences and settings
• Any uploaded media or files
• Account activity history

Data Retention Policy

Once you request account deletion:

• Your account will be immediately deactivated.
• All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Some anonymized data may be retained for legal or security purposes.
• Backup data will be purged within 90 days.
